This collection comes from my second visit to the Alcatraz State Prison. It is a place full of views, dark corners, textures and little details that tell a lot of history. Everything around reflects a weird, sometimes heavy, energy. The interaction between lights and shadows, and the ocean around, behind the bars, somehow bring also the notion of an unattainable freedom.
